Inventex is capable of lightweight machining up to 2 meters in diameter and is able to micro-grind (machine polish) on-axis spheres. The photo to the left is a piece that INVENTEX micro-ground within 5 waves. We can produce off-axis spheres and asperical segments with similar results.
Inventex's expertise also includes lightweighting high-tech optical components. We have produced pieces for a wide variety of applications including satellites, fiber optics, infrared cameras and deformable mirrors for adaptive optics.
