Logitech Ltd is a world leader in materials processing, shaping and surface finishing technology.

We design and manufacture high precision cutting, lapping and polishing systems which enable high specification surface finishes to be prepared with precise geometric accuracy.

Logitech systems allow you to achieve highly uniform & parallel material flatness to within 1-2 microns specifications.

All Logitech systems are built with flexibility in mind and easily integrate into your fabrication programme, offering a quick and reliable route to success in the final preparation of your material samples.

Logitech Systems are used in a variety of processes within the Opto-electronics, Semiconductor and Optics industries.

Typical applications include:
- Smooth lapping and polishing of wafer faces to defect free quality
- Polishing of materials for optical waveguides, optical modulators, mobile phones, piezoelectrics
- Fibre optics & fibre array polishing
- Preparation of LED substrates such as sapphire and silicon carbide
- Planarization & delayering of surface layers.
- MEMS device processing
Logitech Systems are ideal for materials such as:
Silicon, Lithium Niobate, Sapphire, Lithium Tantalate, Potassium Titanyl Phosphate & Beta Barium Borate, Cadmium Telluride, Cadmium Zinc Telluride, Gallium Arsenide (GaAs, Gallium Nitride (GaN) and Indium Phosphide (InP), Silicon Carbide (SiC) and many more..............

Flagship products include:
The LP50 and PM5 benchtop lapping and polishing systems, are ideal for research & development or small scale production, providing exceptional quality of finish for samples up to 100mm/4".

The new High Speed Lapping and Polishing System has been developed for the hard materials market, such as LED. With a plate speed of 300rpm, the high speed system offers extreme reliability and results for the processing and analysis of sapphire, diamond, gallium nitride and silicon carbide for example.

The DL1/DL4 and DP1/DP4 driven head lapping and polishing systems provide a higher level of throughput and faster removal rates required for harder to process materials.

We also manufacture a range of Bonders, Saws, Interferometers, Autocollimators and Test & Measurement equipment.

However, Logitech does not only develop & manufacture equipment, we aim to provide materials processing solutions tailored to customer specifications. Our system packages also include technology transfer, in depth training and expert after sales support.
